Who Cares About Your MLM Company?

This is quite easily, the easiest question anyone will ever ask. Who cares what MLM you are involved with other than you? It took me a while to get this until I learned and fully grasp the concept of marketing.  The answer is nobody; people don’t care about you or what you’re selling.  The products and services of your company are not your true products.  You don’t sell miracle juice and long distance service.  You are a Network Marketer and what you do, is provide a solution to people’s problems and the product is just a vehicle to that solution.  On the flip side you also provide a means to fulfill your dreams through the efforts of yourself & others.  You are not here to get people to sign up into your business.  If this is your main objective and your sole purpose of becoming a Network Marketer, I suggest you fasten your seat belt.  Because failure maybe the only option for you, if you continue to think this way.

Nobody cares about your company! My product is better, my product is cheaper, my product has a patent, my miracle juice is fortified with exotic roots and herbs from the orient, and my product was used by the Spartans many years ago to keep their armies grow healthy and strong! Just forget all that hype!  All that really matters is that your product holds real value for your customer and provides a solution to an end.  These are the necessary ingredients for long term success.  Understanding who your target market is very important. And next understanding that no matter how great your product is people will not just buy it because you say so.  Now on the other hand if people trust you and believe you I’m certain that you could sell snowballs to Eskimos.

Another thing which is imperative that you understand, having a great MLM company to represent is cool, however if the product or service is good, others will try to duplicate it and cash in.  This is not a bad thing; in fact competition is good. It’s a good thing to have competitors.  There is no need to be worrying about the features and price point of your MLM product, and stop worrying about the competition.  If your competitors aren’t selling a similar product or service, than that means there is no real demand for it anyway.  Anything that’s good, and consumers want it, that product will be duplicated, replicated and carbon copied just as sure as water is wet!

Next your business is marketing; the one who markets and promotes the best is usually the winner.  What if I gave you a ton of super miracle juice extreme?  You would have in your possession one of the greatest new product on the market today, however unless you know how to market it, to the right people you will not make a dime!  You have to understand the money isn’t in the product.  The money is in knowing how to market the product, and smart Network Marketers have a system in place to help them.

This is such a huge concept that if you truly grasp it, then the sky is the limit for you.  Because in reality a system is nothing more than a standardized set of tools and instructions and your system can be anything as long as there are a common set of tools and instructions.  So in essence you sell a marketing system to distributors and the marketing system sells the company products not your business.  Which means no one cares about your business, but people will continue to gravitate to you and open their wallets over and over again because they like you.

The average lifespan ranges typically about three months give or take a day or two.  If this new rep doesn’t get a check of some kind into their hands within three months on average they are usually otta here!  This cycle just continues to go on and on, you really can’t blame anyone, that’s just how it is. The way it happens is a new potential entrepreneur is introduced to an opportunity they are taken to a presentation or maybe sent to a website to learn more about a company and the chance to become rich.  You must do some grunt work in the beginning, empires aren’t built over night and especially not in 30-90 days.

People think that if you just have all the ingredients everything else will fall into place. It doesn’t get much easier, they believe that they will get set up, spread the word about the lemonade stand and people will come from all overfor some fresh squeezed lemonade.  This just has to work right?  We had these lemons personally hand picked and squeezed to guarantee freshness, so this should be a no brainer.

O.K. here comes the reality check, people get latched on to what they consider to be the next big thing and sometimes they really do have a good product however they do not have a clue about marketing!  They don’t have any training and when the lemonade stand doesn’t make any money the first couple of weeks people they take the easy way out and pack it up.  They don’t take the time out to learn what they need to before joining this business, than that business and before you know it your trying to market 3, 4, even 5 businesses all at once.

This is what I call the canvas syndrome.  The knockout blowis what all those fighters experienced when they fought against that young fella named Mike Tyson.  Mike Tyson was a beast in the ring when he was younger and the only place his competitors were going, was to the canvas.  Bam! down to the mat.  People don’t take the time to master and become proficient at one task before moving on to the next.  Most folks do stay long enough to give it a chance, they see the great opportunities that network marketing has to offer but no one is will willing to do what it takes to be successful.  The part that saddens me is instead of taking responsibility and saying “I didn’t give it my all” or “it just wasn’t for me” people go out and say dirty words like scam, rip-off, hoax,fake.

Don’t waste your time trying to get this all by yourself, a fool and his money will soon be parted. You will most likely fail if you do not have marketing skills. If you chose to go into this industry take your time and find out what you are good at, get the training you need.  But it’s not your fault, had someone told you that if you branded yourself people who trust you would have come and purchased some lemonade from you.  If you would have gotten proper training you would have known the proper mixture of lemons, water and sugar.  The right blend would have made all the difference in the world.  Network Marketers are failing and going broke because they don’t understand the principles of effective marketing, and if your fumbling around on the internet that number is higher. The home based business areana is the easiest way for anyone to achieve riches and live the life they always dreamed of, however the best way to approach this, is like this:
