Jeffery Combs More Heart Than Talent Review

I just recently had the pleasure to attend a “More Heart than Talent” workshop back in November, 2009. In 1998 after a successful network marketing career, Mr. Jeffery Combs founded his company Golden Mastermind Seminars Inc. The company is run by Jeffery & Erica Combs; here Mr. Combs shares his knowledge with fellow entrepreneurs. He specializes in prospecting, leadership, and personal development. He is also an expert at mindset training and all levels of effective marketing. Mr. Combs is a seven figure income earner and he has personally trained and consulted many six and seven income earners as well. This workshop was awesome the gloves came off and it was “on like popcorn”. Mr. Combs shared with the crowd various techniques and strategies that any person in direct sales or network marketing must have or learn if they want long term success.
The More Heart than Talent work shop covered a cast array of areas such as prospecting and facing objections. He covered in detail how and why you should ask for the sale. People procrastinate and because of various emotional factors such as fear. Why a people afraid, most people don’t want to hear “No” or face rejection. But during this work shop Mr. Combs revealed the truth which is most people almost never say “No”, they may say “I need to talk to my wife” or “I don’t have the money”. Mr. Combs goes on to teach you how to handle objections and how to do a very clever technique called a u-turn.
He explains how many direct sales and network marketers take things to personal. They think about a prospect who they believe is on the hook and what will happen if they say or do the wrong thing. The truth is this form of procrastination is ridiculous. Think about this, how many people build up the anxiety about things they have no control of. How can you lose what you never had? That’s the big question, why do people worry about the unknown? Mr. Combs touched on topics of how to respond instead of reacting when you are talking to a prospect. Never allow a prospect to seduce you into reacting or coming out of character.
This workshop was an all day event and well worth every single penny and more. On this particular day he also had special guest Cedrick Harris and Drew Berman, both well known figures in the network marketing industry. This only added even more value to the workshop. Mr. Combs also went into discussions on posture, speaking clearly and most importantly listening. He also covers fact finding and how to develop your communication from that of a procrastinator to a producer. Learn how to ask questions that will lead to the results you are seeking. One of the most powerful skills that Mr. Combs talked about was how to create a connection with your prospect in 90-seconds or less.
I have been to hundreds of these workshops and the amount of information covered in just one day was simply out of this world. He preaches “ABC” always be closing and many other various anagrams such as “NFL”. No not the National Football League, but not for long or no funds left. Another good one is “JOB” which stands for just over broke. The amount of information covered in this 1-day workshop is astonishing. Mr. Combs is the president of Golden Mastermind Seminars & the More Heart than Talent workshop. The motivational message and training that Mr. Combs delivers is the benchmark of the man that he is. His commitment to his work and his goal of helping people to change the way they act and feel in order to achieve their goals and dreams.
