One skill that is overlooked, but absolutely, positively should never be, is copywriting.  We are going to cover some quick and easy copywriting secrets to help you out with your business.  Knowing how to write copy yourself or having a good copy writer can make or break your marketing efforts.  Copywriting is the “Million Dollar” skill that 98% of network marketers neglect regularly.  What these marketers don’t know is, this is one of  THE Easiest ways to separate you from the masses.

What is copywriting?  Well the easiest way to summarize the definition “It is salesmanship through written words”.  What you write and what you say can be the difference between someone buying your product or service or clicking on your advertisement or not.  It could very easily determine whether or not someone stops by your website or blog.  If your ads are weak, you will not get conversions (leads).  If your offer is weak you will not make money or sponsor more distributors.

These concepts are detrimental to your success.  I’m going share with you, some secrets on how to learn copywriting.  There is no class or copywriting university you can attend, but you can buy several books that may help you.  Today I’m going to share with you two things that you can study that are even better than buying a book and it will not cost you one dime.  Study other successful copywriters, create a “swipe file” an emulate them.  Now don’t steal their work, but see, study and learn.  Study human psychology, if you know and understand what the impulses are that trigger why people buy or not buy; why they do or not do, then you will have won half the battle.  These concepts and philosophies could carry you through to the next level.  There are other ways to learn these techniques and I will share exactly how a little bit later.

Here are the four main principles of successful copywriting:

  1. Be yourself and be genuine, when you write your ad copy you need to present yourself in a manner that lets the reader know who you are?  If the reader can connect with you than everything else is easy.
  2. Provide specifics (Proof) if you have a story, provide facts to back up your claims.  DO NOT LIE! Or over exaggerate.  People will challenge you and you could destroy your reputation. Use testimonials they work great!
  3. Position yourself as an expert or consultant.  It’s not that hard, an expert is someone who has attained more knowledge on a subject than the average person.  A friend of mine once said that if you are in the top 1% knowledge level as opposed to everyone else in the world you are an expert.  If you read 5 books on a subject and everyone else only read one, who is the expert? Get it.
  4. Disguise your sales pitch with valuable content and provide proof to back up your claims and promises.

If you can follow these guidelines, you will put yourself on a path to becoming a proficient copywriter in no time.  To learn more about copywriting and internet marketing.  Put your name, email address and phone number in the box to the right and come learn how we build successful Network Marketing companies from the comfort of our home.
