Who Cares About Your MLM Company?
This is quite easily, the easiest question anyone will ever ask. Who cares what MLM you are involved with other than you? It took me a while to get this until I learned and fully grasp the concept of marketing. The answer is nobody; people don’t care about you or what you’re selling. The products and services of your company are not your true products. You don’t sell miracle juice and long distance service. You are a Network Marketer and what you do, is provide a solution to people’s problems and the product is just a vehicle to that solution. On the flip side you also provide a means to fulfill your dreams through the efforts of yourself & others. You are not here to get people to sign up into your business. If this is your main objective and your sole purpose of becoming a Network Marketer, I suggest you fasten your seat belt. Because failure maybe the only option for you, if you continue to think this way.
Nobody cares about your company! My product is better, my product is cheaper, my product has a patent, my miracle juice is fortified with exotic roots and herbs from the orient, and my product was used by the Spartans many years ago to keep their armies grow healthy and strong! Just forget all that hype! All that really matters is that your product holds real value for your customer and provides a solution to an end. These are the necessary ingredients for long term success. Understanding who your target market is very important. And next understanding that no matter how great your product is people will not just buy it because you say so. Now on the other hand if people trust you and believe you I’m certain that you could sell snowballs to Eskimos.
Another thing which is imperative that you understand, having a great MLM company to represent is cool, however if the product or service is good, others will try to duplicate it and cash in. This is not a bad thing; in fact competition is good. It’s a good thing to have competitors. There is no need to be worrying about the features and price point of your MLM product, and stop worrying about the competition. If your competitors aren’t selling a similar product or service, than that means there is no real demand for it anyway. Anything that’s good, and consumers want it, that product will be duplicated, replicated and carbon copied just as sure as water is wet!
Next your business is marketing; the one who markets and promotes the best is usually the winner. What if I gave you a ton of super miracle juice extreme? You would have in your possession one of the greatest new product on the market today, however unless you know how to market it, to the right people you will not make a dime! You have to understand the money isn’t in the product. The money is in knowing how to market the product, and smart Network Marketers have a system in place to help them.
This is such a huge concept that if you truly grasp it, then the sky is the limit for you. Because in reality a system is nothing more than a standardized set of tools and instructions and your system can be anything as long as there are a common set of tools and instructions. So in essence you sell a marketing system to distributors and the marketing system sells the company products not your business. Which means no one cares about your business, but people will continue to gravitate to you and open their wallets over and over again because they like you.
